The Brief

Popeyes® UK came to us in 2022 ahead of their Liverpool launch – its first site in the north of the UK – with one very clear ask: queues around the block.

Three years later and we’ve launched over 50 sites for the team (over half of their growing estate).

What started as a single city launch led to us being appointed the lead new site opening (NSO) agency for the UK, where Scoop is embedded in Popeyes®’s rapid national expansion strategy.

The Ongoing Partnership

Since that first Liverpool launch back in 2022, we’ve continued to work with Popeyes on their full UK rollout. What started as a single campaign has grown into a strategic NSO partnership — where we’re embedded in their expansion team, delivering launch after launch, quarter after quarter.

We’re agile when we need to be, proactive when it matters, and always bringing solutions (not problems) to the table.

Recent Highlights
  • Became first agency to sign an exclusive NSO retainer in 2025 to deliver 40 further openings nationwide.
  • Launched a Manchester regional campaign working with local hero, UN:IK, moving beyond individual openings to build sustained brand presence across a key market.
  • Delivered the Leeds x Lab54 activation (a rave. In a Popeyes. Yes, really).
