Meet the Team: Tasha

  1. What is your role at Scoop?

I am a Marketing Manager here at Scoop. My role is responsible for delivering the best marketing campaigns for clients!

With a strong knowledge of the full marketing mix, I approach any level of brief with a strategic mindset, digging deep to ensure I understand the client & its industry inside and out. I make sure to deliver the best possible results through the likes of Social Media, Content Marketing, CRM, Paid Media or SEO, knowing what works and why.

I also seek & manage new business coming into Scoop. Looking for some effective Marketing & PR campaigns? I’m your gal!

  1. What are you most looking forward to getting stuck into at Scoop?

A big part of my role here is bringing New Business to Scoop. We have a lot of exciting prospects on the horizon so I am super excited to have the opportunity to watch these come to fruition. From the first meeting to building strategy, creating the campaigns to seeing the results, I love having involvement in every part of the client’s journey!

Stay tuned for a lot of exciting Scoop action in 2024…

  1. What’s your favourite thing to do in Manchester?

I love summer (ironically choosing to live in the rainy city) so spending time sitting outside Natural Wine Bar: Flawd at New Islington Marina with friends or strolling around the Makers Market in Ancoats/NQ are some of my favourite things to do in the rare Manchester sunshine!

The diverse food scene in Manchester is absolutely MEGA (my restaurant bucket list notes page is never-ending) so some of my top recommendations would be Mackie Mayor – just try everything, Sea Urchin – ever-changing menu of fresh seafood & Mr Thomas’ Chop House – The Yorkshire puddings on par with my Nan’s (and that’s a badge of honour.)

  1. What motivates you?

I am a big people person so building strong, long-term relationships with clients and helping them achieve their goals is my number one. Positioning myself as an extension of the client’s team, I love to ensure satisfaction and success by getting to know the client, the brand & their ethos so I can mirror this in everything I do!

Creativity and Innovation make me tick both inside and outside of work. I love the opportunity to develop creative and innovative marketing strategies that stand out in a competitive landscape. With a genuine passion for the Marketing & PR industry, the ever-evolving nature inspires me to stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices.

The desire to make a meaningful impact, not only on the clients’ businesses but also on the success of Scoop as an agency and the industry as a whole, is a powerful motivator for me.

  1. What do you do in your spare time?

You’ll usually find me strolling around Manchester, shopping bags in one hand & oat milk latte in the other (my version of self-care). But apart from trying every bar, restaurant or clothes shop in Manchester…

I love to travel, whether it’s a city break or a beach holiday, I love fully immersing myself in the culture, trying the food & drinks and attempting to speak the language (usually very badly).

With a passion for film photography & video, I love doing creative projects in my spare time. As a creative person, I think it is super important to keep this fire burning in everything you do.

With a love of music and Manchester’s rich music history, going to gigs & concerts at venues all across the city is something I love too & would recommend to anyone visiting!

It goes without saying that 2020 was nothing short of tumultuous. The pandemic closed, shifted, and forced businesses to adapt to a norm that no organisation could have anticipated or really prepared for, in adjusting to the severity of impact from COVID-19.  PR is one industry that has been significantly affected, being a sector that […]
