The Brief

Albert’s Schloss already owned the night. With venues in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, it was known for Bavarian bier, bench dancing and high-energy entertainment – and already had a strong fanbase. But with a food offering that deserved its own spotlight, the team at Mission Mars ( the multi-concept operator behind Albert’s Schloss) came to us with a specific ask: change the way people think about eating there.

Not a rebrand. Not a new concept. Just a clear perception shift – from ‘great night out’ to ‘great night out AND seriously good food.’ The kind of challenge that needs a hospitality marketing agency with real strategic instincts, not just a press office.

Our Approach

We came in with a single mission: put the Schloss food offering on the map across all three cities. No trying to be everything at once, just a clear and sustained push on food, built around the media and creators that Schloss’ audience actually trusted.

As a food PR agency working across multiple cities, we know that what lands in Manchester doesn’t always land the same way in Birmingham. Every decision – from which titles we pitched to which creators we invited in – was market-specific.

What We Delivered

We ran a focused press office across all three cities, pitching food-first stories to the regional titles that actually mattered in each market. As well as proactive pitching, we invited media down to experience the food first-hand – sit-down visits, menu tastings and reviews that gave journalists something genuine to write about.

Menu launches, Sunday roast features, seasonal specials – all stories that put the food front and centre and spoke directly to people who already knew Schloss, but didn’t yet know Schloss food.

No client assigned to this project.

Influencer & Creator Partnerships

We sourced the right foodie and lifestyle creators in each city and invited them in to experience the food properly – sitting down, trying the menu, and creating honest reviews and content their audiences actually wanted to watch. No forced endorsements, no generic gifting. Just the right people, eating good food, and making content that moved the needle.

An Ongoing Partnership

We came in to solve a specific problem – food awareness. But when the strategy lands and the results stack up, short-term campaigns have a way of becoming something bigger.

What started as a targeted food PR campaign in early 2025 has since grown into a full annual retainer across Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham. Today, we’re embedded in the Schloss team – running an always-on press office, managing media and influencer relationships, and delivering seasonal campaigns that keep the brand relevant through every quarter.

We’re not just executing, we’re shaping the story of one of the UK’s most iconic multi-site hospitality brands. As a brand communications agency that works best when it feels like part of the team, this is exactly the kind of relationship we’re built for.
