Objectives

  • Generate national coverage to build up Acacia Training’s brand presence in the market

  • Position Acacia Training as the champions of accessible education for everyone, enabling opportunities for career progression for all learners

What we did.

To kick start activity, we created a strong hit list of key contacts across several press sectors; national education, health, personal finance & current affairs, broadcast, trade education, trade care, business & regional. We targeted these different media types to build up the individual profiles of key spokespeople as part of overall brand building for Acacia Training.

We introduced key board members to target media contacts, followed by a steady stream of positive business-focused news stories, celebrating Acacia Training’s successes, new developments & launches of new initiatives to keep the brand front of mind and increase online presence.

We scaled up activity during key campaigns in Acacia Training’s calendar, tapping into media moments like National Apprenticeship Week & A Level and GCSE Results Days to put the brand front and centre via pre-prepared commentary and case studies and reactive comms. 

Our ongoing press office also utilised strong case studies of learners to build trust and showcase credibility to press as well as positioning Acacia Training as the leading voice in education via thought leadership and expert opinion across a series of topics, including employability, EDI and up-skilling the workforce.
